Dual Credit Program
Do you want to get a jump start on a college degree? High school students can take college level courses at Lone Star College System through our exceptional admissions program. To do so, follow the steps listed below. If you wish to get high school credit for the college courses you take (dual credit), first look to see which college courses are approved by your independent school district.
*If you have already enrolled at Lone Star College System within the last academic year (Sept-Aug), then you are classified as a current student.
GED Preparation & Exam
We offer high school equivalency preparation and exam programs. The GED exam enables you to earn a certificate issued by the Texas Education Agency. The GED exam is administered on a regular schedule through our continuing education offices. To register, click the link below and search for GED.
