The Lone Star College–CyFair Grants Office will assist in turning your grant idea into a completed proposal. We can help with the following:
- Assist in identifying funding sources.
- Work with you to assure that your proposal meets the granting agency requirements.
- Assist in developing your proposal budget.
- Prepare the Lone Star College–CyFair Grant Approval Form and obtain required college grant approvals.
- Ensure that your proposal contains all signatures, assurances and certifications required by the funder.
- Work with the district office to submit your grant application.
Steps to Grant Development
The process of developing a grant is 90% planning and 10% writing. The time spent on planning helps develop a fundable proposal and ensures that when the grant is received it has the commitment of those who will need to implement the grant.
