DramaThe Theatre Department at Lone Star College–CyFair is dedicated to providing for each student a positive and enriching learning experience. Students are trained in characterization, movement, and vocal production.
Leisure TravelTravel the world with Lone Star College–CyFair. We offer study trips to many fun and exotic locations.
Music The Music Department at Lone Star College–CyFair provides a full range of music courses including: Concert Choir, Pop singers, Class Piano, Class Guitar, Sight Singing, plus many private lessons.
For Kids & Teens
Discovery College
We provide summer programs for children and teens that are fun and educational. Knowledgeable instructors teach classes in a variety of subject areas with curriculum developed to encourage learning in a relaxed and creative atmosphere.
Driver's Education
This program is designed for students who are between 15-17 yrs. old and wish to get a Texas Driver’s Permit.
Scout ProgramEarn your badges! Take classes covering a wide range of topics for Junior and Cadette Girl Scouts, Webelos, and Boy Scouts.
For Seniors
The Academy for Lifelong Learning
The Academy for Lifelong Learning is an organization for active, older adults (50+) offering classes and social activities for continued intellectual and personal growth. The members select and in many cases teach the courses.

Microsoft Office SpecialistOffice Specialist is a recognized industry standard that verified desktop skills using Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Achieving the Office Specialist certification provides a competitive edge in today's job market.

This academy is geared specifically for those interested in high end technical training such as Computer Networking and High Performance Computing. Our campus is also home to the Cy-Fair Cisco Academy of Networking and offers CCNA and CCNP training.

Health Programs
Allied Health Professionals
Allied Health Continuing Education offerings are designed to help practicing health care professionals meet their continuing education licensure requirements and to provide opportunities for networking with local health care providers.
Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)
This course prepares the students as entry level nursing assistants to function competently and safely in a health care or a long term care facility.
Massage Therapy
Learn business practices and professional standards as well as health and hygiene in massage and more in less than a year!
MRI and CT CertificatesThe two short certificate programs are designed to enhance the skills of registered radiographic technologists who are ARRT certified and/or students who are currently enrolled in a JRCERT accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
Fitness & RecreationWe offer courses in aerobics, fitness for life, country western dancing, weight training, yoga, karate, soccer, T’ai Chi, and Tennis under this area. We also offer courses for personal improvement such as good nutrition, and basic massage techniques.
Manufacturing and Constructions Trades
Drafting (AutoCAD) The Continuing Education Drafting program at Lone Star College–CyFair prepares students for an exciting career in CAD. Drafting courses combine lecture with hands-on drawings on the latest CAD, solid modeling, and technical illustration software.
Electronics As electronics becomes more a part of our everyday life, the demand for qualified technical training becomes critical. Our state-of-the-art Technology Center provides students with the equipment for quality hands-on laboratory work to support lecture.
Machining Due to the need for Manual and CNC Machinist in the Houston area, Machining Technology Continuing Education classes trains students who strive to meet the emerging workforce demands in this area. Our state-of-the-art Advanced Manufacturing Center (AMC) houses manual and CNC machining equipment, tools and supplies that give students a workplace environment that fosters hands-on learning and encourages safety in the workplace.
Welding Lone Star College–CyFair's Welding courses are designed to prepare the individual for a career as a welding technician in the fabrication, construction and manufacturing industries.
Service Programs
CELTA
A teacher training program conducted in partnership with the University of Cambridge, UK to offer the Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of other languages (CELTA).
Fire Science This field allows students to pursue job opportunity as a fire fighter, or just advance their knowledge.
GEDFor students interested in receiving their GED (General Educational Development) certificate which is accepted as equivalent to a high school diploma.
The Great Center
The purpose of this program is to provide the operation of professional development programs to improve the quality of instruction provided pursuant to local activities required under Title II, Workforce Investment Act.
Literacy ESOLOur library offers classes and study aides to improve literacy for students whose first lanuguage isn't English.
Real Estate The Real Estate Program provides students with the knowledge and skills required for career opportunities in real estate profession.
Personal TrainerUpon completion of the program, students will be prepared to take the American Council on Exercise (ACE) National Certification exam.
Teacher Alternative Certification Program (TACP)
The purpose of the alternative certification program is to provide training for pre-service teachers, aid individuals who want to earn a teaching certification and develop high quality educators.
