Lone Star College–CyFair continues to seek new ways to help families and students manage the costs of education. Each year, federal, state and endowment funds are allocated to Lone Star College–CyFair for awards to eligible students. In some cases, gifts and grants from corporations and foundations provide assistance. Whatever the source, Lone Star College–CyFair is committed to helping you find the assistance you need to Make it Happen!
The purpose of financial aid is to remove financial barriers that prevent you from achieving your educational goals. Lone Star College–CyFair participates in numerous programs that provide financial aid.
Priority is given to your financial aid application if you complete the process prior to April 1. After the priority date, financial awards are made as long as funds are available. Funds are usually awarded for the following fall and spring semesters.
Contact our department well in advance of registering for classes. A personal visit with us is required for new students and recommended for returning students.
