LSCS's system-wide strategic plan, Strategic Initiatives, centers around Success-Success of our Students, Success of our Communities, Success of our Employees.
Beginning in Fall 2003, LSCS initiated a system-wide strategic planning process. Faculty and staff from across the system participated in the development of 26 Stategic Initiatives that form that basis for the 2004-2007 strategic plan. These were approved by the Board in May, 2004.
In Fall 2004, recommended Action Plans were developed for each of the 26 initiatives. Co-chairs met with teams of faculty and staff from across the system to formulate recommendations for the best ways to proceed.
The recommendations were referred to system-wide councils and committees for review and revision. These Action Plans are in the process of being implemented.
