Request Books, Videos, CDs, Articles, & More

1. Select an item in the catalog and click the "place hold" link in Power Search/Aquabrowser or the "request first available copy of this item" button in the non-power search catalog.
2. Enter your library card number and PIN into the boxes provided and click the login button.
3. Make sure the pick up location is correct and if not, use the drop-down menu to change it.
4. Add a comment in the box provided if you need a specific volume or part of a set.
5. Click the request button.
6. Check to see that a note tells you that your request has been successfully placed.
7. Click the "return to searching" button if you want to request other items. Or click the "logout and return" button if you have completed your request.

• Check WorldCat (NOTE: login off campus with your library card number) for availability of items in other libraries in Texas and the United States. 

For articles not in full text in online databases or periodical subscriptions available through the library:

• Check a library article database for publication information (e.g., article title, date, page numbers, etc.) if the article is not full text online. For articles not listed in databases, provide as much publication information as possible, so we can locate the article with a minimum of delay.

1. Visit, call, email, or chat with a librarian to request items from other library systems.
2. Contact by email or mail to your home address will occur when a requested item is ready to pick up.

2. Contact by email or mail to your home address will occur when a requested item is ready to pick up.
