Medical Radiologic Technology Program
Medical Radiologic Technology (MRT) is one of the most exciting and varied fields of study in Medicine. The MRT program here at Lone Star College–CyFair is committed to helping each student master the basic skills needed to function as an entry-level staff radiographer. We work to help each student develop the desire to continue their professional development through advance certification and continuing education.

Allied Health Continuing Education offerings are designed to help practicing health care professionals meet their continuing education licensure requirements and to provide opportunities for networking with local health care providers.

Admission Requirements
1) Prerequisite classes - MUST complete only ONE of the following to be eligible for admission.
a) BIOL 2404 -Intro to A&P
OR
b) BIOL 2401 -Human A&P 1
2) Corequisite classes - Do NOT have to be completed prior to application, but must finish to graduate
-ITSC/COSC 1401 Intro to Computers
-ENGL 1301 Composition & Rhetoric
-MATH 1314 College Algebra
-PSYC 2301 General Psychology
-SPCH XXXX (One of the following courses: 1311, 1315, 1318 or 1321)
-Elective Approved Humanities or Fine Arts elective
-Elective Approved Kinesiology elective
3) PSB test - Only available during the application period
4) Current licensure in healthcare - Contact department for point equivalency, MUST be current
5) Volunteer or Work-Related Experience - Review the Selection Criteria Worksheet
