ASL/ITP - I have taken ASL classes in High School. Can I skip ASL I and II?

Article Body

If you feel that you know ASL well enough to enroll in ASL III, you must take the Prior Learning Assessment for SGNL 1401 and SGNL 1402.  You will need to download the PLA form and take them to the Academic Advising Office and have them sign two areas.  Then you go to the Payment counter and pay the fee for the test.  The form can be found in this website: http://www.lonestar.edu/Templates/content.aspx?pid=7922

After you pay, you will go to the Assessment Center and take the test there.  The center will contact the appropriate faculty member so your test can be graded and the paperwork completed.
